ORGANIZER “Cultural Initiative” association is a non-profit organization set up in 2013 with the purpose to create cultural projects, introduce jazz and improvised music to the mass audience, provide an environment for creative communication and exchange of cultural experiences. With the help of cultural cooperation, we are building bridges in the name of friendship and understanding between people. Jazz is the international communication language of musicians, it is created in all corners of the earth, it is a democratic music, the music of free and creative people.
At the helm of our organization is a famous jazz saxophonist Oleg Kireev whose talent extends not only to creation and performance of jazz music but also to its promotion in the role of an organizer of concerts and festivals. His experience began in Ufa in Bashkiria where he was born and where he organized the first jazz big band and the jazz club and where the jazz festival he created has been running with great success for 15 years. His background includes not only his hometown, but also many concerts organized in New York, the city of birth of jazz, in British Birmingham, in Warsaw, Krakow, Brno, Budapest, Moscow, St. Petersburg… In 2010, Oleg Kireev was awarded the title of People's Artist of Bashkiria and the title of the president’s adviser on culture. In Istria Oleg Kireev held jazz concerts repeatedly, in the stage of INK in Pula, in MMC in Fažana, on summer venues in Poreč.
The goal of the association, acting in cooperation with international musicians, contribute to the diversity of cultural life of the city. The program is intended for audiences 6+ and selection of contractors to meet both the domestic population as well as visitors from different European countries, who want quality notes. | |
